About Nick Roud
I didn’t set out to chase titles or awards, I set out in 2016 (well a few years before that) to help people who lead. Born in the UK and now proudly based on Auckland’s North Shore with my wife Nicola and our two childres, Louie 10 and Willow 8, my life to date has moved purposefully to understanding people and opening up their massive potential.
Being dysleix my superpower gives me a unique lens on the world, a way of seeing patterns, connecting the dots fast and turning complexity into clarity. I am a natural introvert who prefers to stay in the wings out of the spotlight, but my work shines on the global stage. From one-on-one confidential coaching with CEOs and senior executives to developing tomorrow’s leaders, my approach is grounded in empathy, trust and results.

CORPORATE EXPERIENCE & GOVERNANCE:
Nick started his professional career in a prestigious Chartered Accountancy Firm in London, UK. He then moved into a Managers role for an international trade and expo business and spent 15 years supporting British exporters grow internationally. During the 90s Nick moved to New Zealand and joined an executive recruitment organisation where he spent many years helping executives identify and attract key people for their organisations. He was then an owner of a small New Zealand recruitment business before selling his ownership in 2016 to establish Roud Career Coaching/Nick Roud Coaching.
