About Nick Roud
Born in the UK and now proudly based on Auckland’s North Shore with my wife Nicola and our two kids, Louie 10 and Willow 8.
I am dyslexic – my superpower gives me a unique lens on the world, a way of seeing patterns, connecting the dots fast and turning complexity into clarity. I am an introvert who prefers to stay in the wings out of the spotlight.
From one-on-one confidential coaching with CEOs and senior executives to developing tomorrow’s leaders, my approach is grounded in empathy, trust and results.
When companies bring me in, it’s not because they need a guest speaker (that’s not for me thanks) nor because things are broken, it’s because they’re ready to improve performance. They want a coach who get’s results. My work is not a one-size fits all template approach. It’s bespoke, world class and evidence based.

CORPORATE EXPERIENCE & GOVERNANCE:
Nick started his professional career in a prestigious Chartered Accountancy Firm in London, UK. He then moved into a Managers role for an international trade and expo business and spent 15 years supporting British exporters grow internationally. During the 90s Nick moved to New Zealand and joined an executive recruitment organisation where he spent many years helping executives identify and attract key people for their organisations. He was then an owner of a small New Zealand recruitment business before selling his ownership in 2016 to establish Roud Career Coaching/Nick Roud Coaching.
