Roud Career Coaching thoughts & Ideas for May

by | May 10, 2017

As part of my ongoing quest to help people be their most authentic self, and with the winter months not far away, I wanted to share with the group some ideas that could be of use and benefit. Feel free to share

As always these are just my thoughts and observations.

When you think about your personal career, step out of your day to day world. What I am saying here is think BIG. Working with a career coach will allow you to take a step into the unknown.

As a coach, I want to ensure you have all the tools to make an informed decision.

Sometime we don’t have all the answers – it is ok – to seek an alternative view point! A common starting point for many of my clients is “Nick, help me work out how I move my career forward, what can I do,”

As a coach, I help you break down any barriers and give you direction that you are comfortable with.

Try finding out – why! So you didn’t get that internal promotion, so you didn’t get offered that job, so you are struggling to get your team engaged, so you are hitting your head against a brick wall. So I just got it wrong!

As a coach, I am only as good as you want to be! Be prepared to put in the hard yards, and be extremely organised. “Rome wasn’t built in a day” but look how long it’s last.

Try just starting!

That’s right you can. Start today and have fun along the way.

Remember one thing for me, if you feel “Stuck” you probably are. Take action, take control, seek out a career coach who cares and allows you to feel free again.

Look after yourself,
