How pure, how refreshing and how honest. I was asked to meet a seasoned CEO yesterday and a high performing CFO today here in New Zealand. The purpose, to discuss my Intelligent Leadership (IL) Executive Program.
During our meeting I asked a question……
“Why do you want to do a leadership program with me?”
and this was there responses which made a huge impact on me.

High Performing CFO “because I want to invest in my own leadership development and grow myself as a leader”
How powerful is that…..To hear those genuine responses from 2 very senior execuives……why would I not want to partner with them and support them to be the very best.
Yet again it goes to show – truly exceptional leadership starts with you doesn’t it.
