I need a break from social media. Ah breathe (I said it :))
For the last few months I have come to realise what works for me and what doesn’t. Many years ago, I shut everything down and to be completely honest it was the very best thing for me.
I have a wonderful loving family and the best job in the world. Today as Nicola and I celebrated our anniversary and my 45th birthday we spoke about this and while it is a scary thing to do it is the right thing for me. If I don’t take back control I am 100% convinced it will impact on my long-term plans. So, tonight it all gets turned off, from my phone, from my computer etc. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook……
As a coach I work with some exceptional individuals and some of the smartest executives around, so, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I am so extremely grateful and humble to do what I do “help you to improve’. In my work I speak a great deal with clients about doing what is best for you and what you feel is the right thing to do – so I am absolutely listening to my own advice.
I absolutely love my growing business Roud Career Coaching and how this is evolving. It is so exciting to have started this from nothing, to see where it is today and where I want it to go over the next 26 years 🙂
